Department Head: Prof. Haitham Zinham About the Program: The Diploma in Tolerance and Coexistence is the first program of its kind at the UAE and regional level. The program gains significant importance based on the nation's vision "We the Emirates 2031" which is built on four main pillars covering all vital sectors including society, economy and UAE relations with various countries worldwide, specifically the third pillar: "The most prominent supporter of international cooperation" which reflects the state's role in the international community aimed at establishing pillars of peace and mutual cooperation at regional and global levels, and contributing to spreading goodness and prosperity among all peoples based on respect for human values. In addition to the UAE society's need to raise a generation that believes in the values of tolerance and coexistence, as the source of future human potential; to continue the founding fathers' journey of development and progress. The program contributes to meeting the need of institutions in the UAE for specialists in the values and principles of tolerance and coexistence; to promote societal peace and human fraternity, and lead global dialogues on diversity, tolerance, peace and stability as a first line of defense for security, safety and future development.
