Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities welcomes all students wishing to join its academic programs, according to a set of academic and skill standards that ensure student readiness for university education requirements.

Bachelor's Admission Requirements

Obtaining a high school certificate or equivalent.
Obtaining a score of at least (75) in Arabic language in high school, or passing the university's Arabic language test.
Passing the personal interview.
Achieving the minimum GPA according to the type of certificate as shown in the table below.

1. UAE High School Certificate

Advanced Stream	Overall average of at least 70%
General Stream	Overall average of at least 80%
Advanced Technical Schools (ATS)	Overall average of at least 80%

2. Other Educational Systems

System	Requirement
SABIS System	Overall average of at least 70%
International Baccalaureate (IB)	IB Diploma with a minimum of 24 points, excluding bonus points
American System	Overall average of at least 80% or cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent
British System (GCE/IGCSE)	A total of 8 subjects: 5 at O level and 3 at AS/A level, minimum grade C in all subjects. Arabic and Islamic Education are not counted.

Students Not Meeting GPA Requirements

College	Special Qualifications
College of Islamic Studies	Score of 85 in Islamic Education in high school. Proficiency in Quran recitation with Tajweed rules. Memorization of parts of the Holy Quran.
College of Social and Human Sciences	Score of 85 in Arabic Language or Islamic Education or any subject related to college programs in high school or equivalent.
College of Arts and Languages	Overall average of at least 85% or cumulative GPA of at least 3 (on a 4-point scale) or equivalent.

Note: If the certificate is issued from outside the UAE or from a system not affiliated with the Ministry of Education, an official equivalency from the UAE Ministry of Education is required.

Academic	Bachelor's degree in a related field with cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Language	Pass university's Arabic language test. IELTS Academic minimum score of 4.5 or equivalent.
Assessment	Pass written test and personal interview.
PhD Program Requirements
Academic	Bachelor's and Master's degree in relevant field with cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Language	Pass university's Arabic language test. IELTS Academic minimum score of 5.0 or equivalent.
Assessment	Pass written test and personal interview.
