Department Head: Prof. Haitham Zinham About the Program: The mission of the Master's program in Arabic Language and Literature, Language and Linguistics specialization, is to develop academic personalities proficient in language sciences and effective civilizational communication tools, and to prepare specialists in Arabic language to meet the needs of the Emirati society in particular and humanity in general. This program aims to equip students with the most important 21st century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication skills. It also broadens their scientific and cognitive horizons in their field of specialization, enabling them to master scientific research methods and their goals, building knowledge derived from original sources and open to contemporary references from various literatures and civilizations; meeting the needs of the UAE, Gulf states, Arab and Islamic countries by providing distinguished competencies with the necessary qualifications for university and educational fields, relevant government ministries, and various social institutions.
