In partnership with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities launched a new master's degree programme in Emirati Folk Literature, aimed at preserving and academically studying the UAE's oral and literary traditions.
Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, officially launched a master's degree programme in Emirati Folk Literature. This unique academic programme is the first of its kind in the UAE, combining rigorous scholarly research with the documentation and preservation of traditional Emirati storytelling, poetry, and folk arts. The programme reflects a shared commitment to safeguarding the nation's intangible cultural heritage.
