Bachelors Degree Program Admission Requirements
  • The applicant shall achieve a minimum average of:
    • 80% in the general secondary certificate for the General Track
    • 75% in the general secondary certificate for the Advanced Track
    • 70% in the general secondary certificate for the Elite Track
  • The student shall pass the personal interview, which includes an oral test and a placement test.
The student shall meet the following requirements to be admitted at the end of the first semester
  • A minimum average of (2) in the semester average.
  • A minimum score of (1250) points in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in Arabic language, and a minimum score of (1000) in English or its equivalent in other standardized tests (IETLS, TOEFL …).
  • A minimum score of (700) points in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in mathematics.

Study System
  • The study system of the program is the credit hours system, and teaching will be during the academic week days only, i.e., from Monday to Friday.
  • The program is presented in the blended study system in accordance with the academic accreditation standards of the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Graduation Requirements:
  • In order to obtain a bachelor’s degree at Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, the student must complete all courses with a minimum grade of (1.00) per each course, achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of (00.2), and complete (120) credit hours as a minimum. He shall also pass the competency test in the specialization, the English language test, and the Arabic language test with a minimum average of (75%), and successfully complete all major curriculum requirements, including field training and graduation projects.
Course Completion

The course is completed with a mark equal to or above 60%.

Minimum and maximum academic load for the student

The student’s academic load in one semester ranges between (12) credit hours as a minimum, (18) credit hours as an upper limit, and (21) credit hours as a maximum.

Certificates are awarded at the university with one of the following grades:
Average Grade
3.60 – 4.00 Excellent
3.00 – less than – 3.6 Very Good
2.5 – less than – 3.00 Good
2.00 – less than – 2.5 Fair
