1.1 Students are admitted based on their academic achievements. They must also possess a high school diploma (12th grade) or equivalent. Applicants must meet the university’s minimum requirements while also taking into consideration that admissions to the university are highly competitive.

SABIS System
International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points. Additional points are excluded.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
A general average of no less than 80% or a cumulative average. At least 3 (on a scale of 4) or equivalent.
American System
Total of eight subjects. Five of them are at (O) level, and three of them are at (AS/A) level, with a minimum grade of C in all subjects.
The Arabic language and Islamic education subjects are not counted.
British System (GCE/IGCSE)
1.2. Applicants must pass the personal interview.
1.3. Direct admission:
- Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (1200) points on the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in Arabic.
- Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (950) points in English or equivalent in other standardized tests (IELTS, TOEFL).
1.4. Conditional admission:
- Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (900) points on the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in Arabic.
- Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (700) points in English or equivalent in other standardized tests (IELTS, TOEFL).

2.1. Applicants must obtain a certified copy of a Bachelor’s degree in a major or related field from an accredited university recognized by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. The minimum cumulative GPA should be at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent.
2.2 Applicants must pass the written test and personal interview.
2.3. Direct admission:
- Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (1400) points in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in the Arabic language.
- Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (1100) points in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in the English language or equivalent.
2.4. Conditional admission:
- Applicants must have a minimum score of (1100) in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in the Arabic language subject or equivalent.
- Applicants must have a minimum score of (950) in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in the English language subject or equivalent.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA between 2.99 to 2.50 or equivalent in their Bachelor’s studies.
3.1. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a specialty or related field from an accredited university recognized by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. The minimum cumulative GPA should be at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
3.2. Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (1400) points in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in the Arabic language.
3.3. Applicants must obtain a score of no less than (1250) points in the Emirates Standardized Test (EmSAT) in the English language or its equivalent.
3.4. Applicants must pass a written exam and a personal interview before the Scientific Committee.
4.1. For citizen students and equivalents:
- A copy of the latest educational qualification accredited in the country.
- An official, recent, colored, and clear personal photo
- A clear and valid copy of the passport (including the unified page number).
- A clear and valid copy of the Emirates ID card (both sides).
- A copy of the family book (including the head-of-household page and the student page). Ensure that the family book number is at the bottom of the page when attaching the document to all required pages.
- A copy of the birth certificate.
- A copy of the mother’s family book (for children of female citizens).
- A clear and valid copy of the mother’s passport (for children of female citizens).
- A copy of the academic record (for postgraduate students).
4.2. For international and resident students:
- Applicants must attach all documents required in the application for admission via the university’s official website.

5.1. Bachelor’s students scholarship requirements:
- Applicants must obtain a grade of 90% or more or its equivalent in high school.
- Applicants must meet the criteria for admission and registration in the EmAST test for Arabic and English or their equivalent. (+)
5.2. Postgraduate students scholarship requirements:
- Applicants must obtain a GPA of no less than 3.5 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent.
- Applicants must meet the criteria for acceptance and registration in the EmSAT test for Arabic and English or their equivalent. (+)
Students accepted from an accredited higher education institution may transfer to Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities in accordance with the university’s approved policies and procedures, subject to specified terms and conditions.
